Skills teach Nonverbia to pull out extra insights from every meeting: competitor mentions, objections, next steps, pricing questions, or anything else your team cares about. Each skill is a set of instructions that Nonverbia runs on every analyzed meeting in the workspace. The results appear on the meeting's Skills tab.

Skills belong to a workspace. Editors can create and change them.

Install a skill from the library

  1. Click Skills in the sidebar.
  2. Click Browse templates, or open the Templates Library tab.
  3. Pick a template and click Install skill. Click Customize before installing if you want to change its instructions first.

An installed template stays linked to the original and gets its improvements automatically. If you edit it, it's detached and becomes your own copy. You can use Re-link to template to undo that. Some templates are proprietary: they install as they are, and their instructions stay hidden.

Create your own skill

  1. On the Skills page, click Create custom skill.
  2. Enter a Skill name, e.g. Competitor mentions, and optionally change its icon and color.
  3. Write the skill's instructions (10 to 2,000 characters). Describe what to look for and how to report it.
  4. Use the preview to try the skill on one of your meetings before you save it.
  5. Click Create skill.

Tips for good instructions:

Turn skills on and off, and reorder them

Use the switch next to a skill to enable or disable it. Only enabled skills run, and results from disabled skills are hidden on your meetings. Drag skills to change the order they run and appear in.

Skills run when a meeting is analyzed. A new skill applies to meetings recorded after you create it.
