Use the Nonverbia app on iPhone or Android to record conversations in the room: client visits, workshops, interviews. The recording is uploaded and analyzed like any other meeting.

You need the editor role in the workspace. With view-only access, the app tells you that recording isn't available and offers to switch workspace.

Record a meeting

  1. Tap the Record button (microphone) in the middle of the bottom bar.
  2. If a meeting on your calendar is underway or starts within 15 minutes, Nonverbia offers it. Tap Record this meeting to name the recording after it, or Record ad-hoc meeting for something else.
  3. Tap the big record button (Tap to record).
  4. Put your phone on the table with the microphone facing the room.
  5. Tap Stop when you're done.

You can Pause and Resume at any time. Close the recording screen and a recording pill with a timer stays in the bottom bar. Locking your phone or switching apps doesn't stop the recording. See Nonverbia for iPhone or Nonverbia for Android for the lock-screen controls.

The meeting is named after the calendar event, or Meeting — date, time for ad-hoc recordings. Rename it later from the meeting's Edit meeting menu.

What gets recorded

Interruptions

If a phone call or another app takes over the audio, the recording pauses and resumes by itself when the interruption ends. If it can't resume, you get a notification asking you to open Nonverbia and resume it.

If your phone closes the app during a recording, Nonverbia recovers the recording the next time you open the app and uploads it.
